Parks
Charlottesville has a number of beautiful parks, and two are close by:
Meade Park – A pool and playground in our own back yard! Meade Park offers a year-around playground, and a wonderful water park from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Also, Spring through Fall, you’ll find Farmers in the Park every Wednesday afternoon.
The playground is accessible from Fairhaven’s back yard. 
Fresh, local produce & prepared foods available Wednesday afternoon Spring through Fall, The water park, open May through September, is a great way to cool off!
Riverview Park – Less than a mile from Fairhaven, this park has a playground and a wonderful 2 mile path along the river. Some days of the week, dogs are allowed off leash.
